    Wayne Bernard Cleveland
Wayne "Booie" Cleveland has written a wonderful family memoir of life on the road. Along with mom and his brother and sister, Wayne follows their energetic and hard-working father from one city to another—wherever dad’s next promotion dictates. Beginning in the late 1920’s, the family moves throughout the South, from Charlotte, to Jacksonville, to Birmingham, back to Charlotte, then on to Biloxi, Atlanta, Mobile, back to Atlanta, and finally to Pittsburgh—all within the space of a few years. They adapt easily, have a lot of fun, and always make the best of it. This son of a traveling salesman eventually goes on to achieve great success in the field of electrical design, and his own family acquires its fair share of the American Dream. After all those years on the road, the Cleveland’s have stayed put in the same comfortable home in Butler, Pennsylvania for the past 30 years. What they are richest in, however, are the kind of wonderful family memories that for most of us have vanished into the past.
