This title was intended for mature audiences and contains strong adult language, suggestive sexual content, and moderate depictions of illegal acts that some may find offensive and inappropriate. Reader discretion is strongly advised. 'The Lion's Den' 2-part scripted mini-series is a derivative work and script adaptation of the fictional novel: 'The Lion's Den: Chronicles of a Las Vegas Money Launderer.' It is the story is of Alex Pryce, an urban Ivy Leaguer who is both the product of higher education and Chicago’:s inner-city borough: who decides to forgo the promise of the financial district, for the underground cash pools of the Las Vegas strip. Amidst finding himself in the middle in a company-wide money laundering scheme, the lead character, becomes increasingly more accepting to the idea of taking on illegal business. The concept searches into the mindset of an educated hustler with urban ambitions. Harvard credentials, professional credibility, honest intentions... who instead of taking Wall Street by storm, elects to feed those illegal considerations: aligning himself with like-minded associates from his past in creating the most successful money laundering syndicate in the US.' 'The scripted project is a much deeper version of the 'Lion's Den' story (in comparison to the novel): not only incorporating a host of new characters, but outlining the connective and intertwining histories between them. In doing so, it expands the tale through an even more dramatic and captivating sequence of events: creating a web of twists and surprises that climax in an ending much different from that of the original story. It is a journey filled with loyalty, passion, deceit, humor, friendship, power... and perhaps most surprisingly, love.'
